Laboratory Testing of Loose Teas

All examinations and tests are conducted by an accredited laboratory for food examination. The firm meets the requirements of standards ISO 9001 as amended by the EU.

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Certification

HACCP is a program designed to assist in analyzing the food product cycle from the raw ingredient stage to the finished product. This is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection. Our tea comes from source that underwent a rigorous process to obtain HACCP certification and is audited annually to ensure all processes and documentation is maintained.

ISO 9001:2001

This certification has been awarded to our source in lights of its management quality system and customer service. Following ISO 9001 standards guarantees improved coordination of company management – from receiving raw materials to processing goods and distribution.

Safe Stainless Steel Tea Accessories

EURO T CUP uses 18/8 grade stainless steel exclusively in all metal products – infusers, strainers, teapots, etc. Unlike many lower grade stainless products, typically, but not limited to those found in dollar stores, 18/8 grade will not corrode when exposed to the Tannins found in loose tea.

Lead-free Teapots

EURO T CUP takes great care to ensure that our teapots, cups and associated porcelain products are glazed in 100% lead free glaze.
